23rd International Conference on Integrated Care (ICIC23)
Call for Papers for ICIC23 is Now Open!
The 23rd International Conference on Integrated Care (ICIC23) in partnership with the Flanders Agency for Health and Care and Visit Flanders will take place at Flanders Meeting & Convention Center Antwerp, Flanders from 22-24 May 2023.With the overarching theme ‘Care in action: how to work together, a participatory approach’, the conference will bring together leaders, researchers, clinicians, managers, citizens, patients and caregivers from around the world who are engaged in the design and delivery of integrated health and social care. The International Scientific Committee (ICS), chaired by Prof Jan De Maeseneer, University of Ghent, is now seeking abstracts of good practice in research, policy, practice and education from around the world. This is expected to be a competitive process so presenters are asked to take time in understanding the guidelines and to follow the process carefully.
ICIC23 is co-designed with patients and caregivers and achieves Patients Included designation. Special consideration is given to papers that demonstrate active people involvement and engagement in either or all of design, implementation and evaluation. Patient and caregivers attend the conference for free, but we cannot cover accommodation and travel costs. We encourage papers from patient and caregivers, but also suggest that health and care researchers and practitioners should encourage patient and caregiver partners to co-present where appropriate and fund travel and accommodation costs if possible. The conference will operate as a hybrid event. This means that people who do not wish to travel next May can join and present at the conference via video link and present their paper digitally, however a delegate fee and registration will still be required.
